Customers of Backyard Honeybees get great tasting honey from their own backyards and have their garden and crops pollinated at the same time. Co-owner Lee Carmichael takes us through some Christchurch backyards as she maintains beehives rented to local residents and businesses. Her customers reap the benefits of her work, she says, with an average of ten kilograms of honey being produced per hive every year — and right at their back doorstep.
