WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
In this experiential workshop, Robina unpacks her innovative toolbox of comprehensive strategies which collectively enable community-scale food sovereignty. Drawing on local issues and contexts, we will learn effective facilitation skills to build confidence in motivating and engaging our wider communities in generating local food prosperity. Participants will be exposed to a plethora of inspiring examples of local food initiatives from around Aotearoa/NZ, as they identify the strengths, weaknesses, gaps and opportunities of community food systems in their own area, and utilise these models to provide solutions.

‘Growing Schools’ is a 4-part documentary series which showcases empowered children involved in transforming their school grounds into abundant food gardens and nature havens.
