Birgit Baader (Motueka, ex Germany) – raising awareness of the interconnectivity of all life, through her roles as screenwriter and director for TV documentaries in NZ and Europe, free lance journalist, editor, book translator and author. www.birgitbaader.com. Zara Mann (Nelson) – combining her affinity with nature with video; BDes with Honors in digital video, Massey Uni, Wellington.

Samuel Irwin (Golden Bay) – unique vision for visual storytelling re people living in balance with nature; extensive film work within Oz and NZ; creative work featured in film festivals; qualifications in Natural History Filmmaking (Otago Uni) and Cinematography (International Film School Sydney). Raquel Kelmanzon (Uruguay) – Has degree in graphic design (ORT University in Montevideo, Uruguay). Freelance Filmmaker, Editor and Photographer. Working as an video editor on Growing Schools.

Ruby Rowe (Christchurch) – Second year student at the New Zealand Broadcasting School in Christchurch currently doing a 26-week internship with Rich Humphreys at Evisionz.tv. My key assignment will be working as an editor on The Localising Food Project. I am really excited to contribute to such an important body of work.

Fredd Marshall (Wellington) – passionate about land-based artistic expression; plenty of community-scale, permaculture and activist documentary production and editing.

Ross Inness-McLeish (Wellington) – committed to hands-on simple living based on deep ecology ethics, pervades his work; has made award-winning team competition documentaries and produced promotional videos for organic food producers.

Yukiko Nakagiri (Japan) – Yukiko studied Information Design for 4 years at Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan. Her studies included photography, film editing and production. From 2005 to 2012, she worked as a production manager for a film production company specializing in advertising. Early in 2012, she left Japan for Australia and New Zealand to travel and study permaculture and sustainable living systems in a 'hands on' way. In spring 2013 she was one of two editors of Earthcare Education Aotearoa's food forest documentary.

Caroline Dugoni

Leigha Speirs-Hutton (Wellington) Studied at Massey University in Wellington, and have studied Digital Video II as well as Documentary Films during 2013. I'm extremely interested in pursuing a career in documentary making. I am passionate about local food and have recently become a trustee at Hill St Farmers Market as well as the Local Food Network, and I've edited a short stop motion for the Sustainability Trust. Peter Kemp (Nelson) Assistant Videographer. 
Peter trained in documentary making at NMIT in 2009/10, and has been freelancing since then under the logo Overview Media. With six commissioned works and seven of his own behind him, he is well on the way to maturity in the field. His current project is an educational video about Corporate Social Responsibility.

Wiremu Grace

Tiago Stamato Velasco (Brazil) Editor. My home country is Brazil, where I did a degree in Social Communication, and worked as a cameraman for the University TV and editing videos for the Arts Department. Following this I worked in the corporate sector as a director of Internal Communication, Marketing and Digital Communications. Then I decided to travel my Latin American continent and had the chance to record two documentaries about Andean Culture. In Colombia I taught social and cultural organisations how to build their own websites and display their important ideas effectively. I am now working on the S.O.S. – Save Our Seeds documentary as one of the cameramen and as the sole editor. This work combines my skills and enlivens my passion.

Stacey Koudys (Canada) Editor. Growing up, Stacey always found that she had a visual side to her, whether it was expressed through photography, or other forms of visual art. This drew her toward wanting to make a career relying on the images she could create. Stacey graduated from a three year training at Niagara College in Canada, with a Diploma in Broadcasting - Radio, Television and Film. This well-rounded program trained her in all aspects of television and film, making her a versatile person with knowledge in all departments essential to a set. Since graduating in 2014 she has been working as a freelance camera assistant and editor all over Canada. She has worked anywhere from wineries and grocery stores to the rugged caves, mountains and rivers of British Columbia. She then took her experience to New Zealand, where she has participated in event videography and film projects across the country. Stacey is the editor of Enriching Gardeners, part of Localising Food Project’s ‘Growing Schools’ series.

Anneliese Hordern (Australia) – works as a Permaculture educator, activist and gardener, eco-consultant with a degree in Environmental Resource Management; from Northern NSW Australia. Educator on Nth Island ‘Localising Food’ tour.

Laurence Boomert (Golden Bay) – focus is contingency planning, green business development and community-up solutions. Founder of NZ Environmental Business Network, runs ‘Bank of Real Solutions’, on board of ‘Living Economies’.
